Since its inception in 1974, the Massachusetts Bar Association's Lawyer Referral Service has helped more than 500,000 people find the right attorney, with the knowledge they need.

These respected attorneys are located statewide and are in good standing with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers and the Massachusetts Bar Association.

All that you need to do is:

• Explain the legal issue you are experiencing
• Provide the LRS with your name and contact information

Once we properly understand your legal issue, we will give you the name and contact information of the lawyer. There are many benefits of having a referral through the Massachusetts Bar Association:

• We provide referrals statewide
• The attorneys on the service are in good standing with the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers (licensing board)
• The attorneys are members of the Massachusetts Bar Association
• The LRS attorneys will charge no more than $25 for the first half-hour consultation
• If the first referral does not work out, feel free to contact us again for another name
